  • Gary Prattley

    CHAIRMAN

    Gary Prattley has longstanding and extensive involvement in planning, urban and regional development across Australia and New Zealand, including leading the state planning systems in Western Australia, Tasmania and the ACT. He has also held senior executive positions in the NSW government, (including responsibility for major projects) and has been involved in large scale city shaping developments in regional and metropolitan environments. In 2017, Gary was awarded the Biannual Sidney Luker Medal by PIA for notable contribution to urban and regional planning in Australia.

    Gary is a purpose-driven industry leader who has developed strong relationships across the public and private sector and is a passionate advocate for strategic planning. He is committed to helping the team at Solve Property grow and develop in their careers, all while advancing our commitment to quality outcomes and fostering a culture of belonging and teamwork. Governance is going to be important as we grow, and Gary will drive this focus.

  • Gary White

    CHIEF PLANNER - ADVISORY GROUP

    Gary White is a proven industry leader in strategic and urban planning, with over 40 years national experience. He is acknowledged as a visionary across the public and private sector and has held the two most senior planning positions in Australia as the Chief Planner for the NSW Department of Planning & Environment (2019), and Chief Planner QLD State Government.

    Gary has a comprehensive understanding of all planning facets and the relationship to key market drivers. His extensive knowledge and pragmatic approach to planning and planning systems, regional planning, individual and unique projects enable him to analyse and decipher complex elements of planning and providing a practical and innovative solutions. Gary is very focused on how mega trends, infrastructure investment, development viability can be balanced in a changing world.

    In 2018 he was acknowledged as Planner of the Year by the Planning Institute of Australia for his contribution to Strategic planning. Gary is also a past Member of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority Management Committee, Central Sydney Planning Committee and Heritage Council of New South Wales.

  • Brendan Nelson

    PARTNER, ADVISORY

    With almost 30 years of national and international experience in the public and private sectors, including senior executive roles in QLD and NSW state and local governments, Brendan is motivated by influencing strategic outcomes and developing innovative solutions to complex challenges.

    Brendan is a recognised leader in land use planning, regional economic development and natural disaster resilience in Australia, and was recognised as the Inaugural Queensland Planner of the Year in 2011, and the Inaugural Australian Planner of the Year in 2012. Brendan was also the National President, Planning Institute of Australia between 2014 – 2018, where amongst his many achievements, he led PIA to have a proactive national voice on planning. He is a registered planner and fellow of PIA, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and embraces our approach to thinking and solving differently.

    George is a distinguished Australian business leader, advisor, strategist, economist, futurist and influential thought leader with over 25 years of experience across a diverse range of sectors and industries including real estate/land, urban and regional planning, economics, demographics, corporate advisory, finance, innovation and technology, government and public policy.

    Bringing vast expertise in real estate, urban and regional planning and economic development, George specialises in strategic research, consulting, analysis, forecasting and advisory services. His extensive experience spans Australian capital cities, key regional markets and international projects.

    As one of Australia’s leading property market experts, George is consistently sought after as a trusted advisor and strategist by a diverse Australian and international clientele comprising many prominent landowners and leading property developers (private, listed and public sector), major corporate entities and institutions, real estate investment trusts, financiers, private equity firms and Federal, State and Local Government.

  • Stuart McKnight

    PARTNER, ADVISORY

    Stuart joins us in Perth, bringing local expertise spanning 30 years. Stuart most recently ran a national economics and planning consultancy in WA and will lead our local market operations. A well-known and trusted face in the industry, Stuart has worked for key local and state government authorities, specialising in urban renewal, precinct regeneration and monitoring land supply. His roles have focused on developing innovative economic and research solutions to support projects across all asset classes, including demographic and market forecasting, real estate advisory, project feasibility and key infrastructure delivery. As an industry leader, Stuart is regularly sought for his perspective on market fundamentals and insights.

  • Richard Ziff

    PARTNER, PROJECTS & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    Richard is a Real Estate and development expert with over 30 years’ experience in Europe, Asia and Australia in both the Public and Private sectors. With a strong leadership background, Richard has developed and trained consultants and sales teams in Australia and across Asia, focusing on developing a strong culture, underpinned by ethical decision making and personal integrity.

    Richard has successfully built and delivered mixed use development projects from initial concept, through to development, funding and delivery across the Region. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management and Valuation, and a Master of Arts in European Property Law and Planning.

  • Gordon Yoon

    PRINCIPAL, ECONOMICS & RESEARCH - ADVISORY GROUP

    With 13 years of professional experience in urban economic and property advisory roles across government and the private sector, Gordon has a national focus on delivering innovative economic and property research solutions.

    His recent experience includes leading a team of economists and researchers to undertake economic analysis, project feasibility assessments, demographic analysis, and research on forecasting demand across all property sectors. Furthermore, his background encompasses key roles within government departments as an economist in Planning and Environment, Land Development Corporations, and major infrastructure agencies.

  • Ryan Brennan

    CONSULTANT, ADVISORY GROUP

    Ryan has three years experience in the property industry, developing his career through analyst and consultant advisory roles across Australia, with a specific focus on analysing economic datasets, preparing bespoke forecast tools and preparing property research reports. His experience has covered a broad cross section of land use types and masterplan projects (both in due diligence and planning approval processes), economic analysis/impact assessment, development feasibility and demographic analysis. More recently, he has also focused on supporting the development of economic advice for strategic planning projects with local and state government agencies.

  • Caleb Ball

    PLANNING ADVISOR, ADVISORY GROUP

    With over 8 years of experience in the public sector within the NSW State Government, Caleb has played a pivotal role in policy delivery and implementation. His expertise extends to specialising in the assessment of State Significant Development and State Significant Infrastructure projects over several years. Caleb is driven by a passion for resolving complex planning challenges currently impacting national development.

    Possessing an in-depth knowledge of the NSW Planning system, Caleb offers extensive capabilities in project delivery, strategic advice, development assessment, and policy formulation, particularly within the housing sector. His recent involvement in assessing significant housing developments across NSW underscores his ability to provide comprehensive strategic planning advice. Caleb is a registered Member of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) and holds a Bachelor of Planning from UNSW.
